Interviewing - Interview Assessment

INTERVIEW ASSESSMENT Interviews serve one purpose: to find the most qualified employee. A successful interview is one in which an employer has the opportunity to accurately judge whether you will be the best fit for the position and the company. During the interview, employers will most likely assess your appearance, personality, overall demeanor, verbal and nonverbal skills along with your answers to interview questions. Most employers will use some sort of scoring sheet. During the interview, employers will take notes and rank you according to your strengths, skills and qualifications. The candidate with the highest score/strongest ranking will often be selected as the final candidate and offered the position. How Employers Evaluate You During an Interview Below is an actual example, directly from an employer, demonstrating how you might be evaluated during an interview.
