Annual and Endowed Scholarships

Nolato Contour Plastics Engineering Scholarship The Nolato Contour Plastics Engineering Scholarship was established to support incoming first-year students enrolled in the plastics engineering program, and hopefully attract more students to the program. Plastics engineering graduates are highly desirable and important for the economic development in this region. The annual award is $1,500. Andrew Novy Gloria Sutton Noone Annual Scholarship Gloria Sutton Noone graduated with a B.S. in home economics education in 1961. She established this fund to assist family and consumer sciences education students. The annual award is $1,000. Alexis Setzer Mary Wilhelm Odell and William A. Odell Memorial Scholarship Mary and William Odell, 1939, left a portion of their estate to UW-Stout to provide scholarships. Education was very important to both the Odells. Prior to retirement, William supervised the industrial education programs for 17 schools in the Baltimore area. Mary taught elementary grades and special reading classes until her retirement. These scholarships are awarded to undergraduates with an education major and financial need. The annual awards are $1,100 each. Jackson Gardner Mia Nortunen Kiaya Schroeder Kimberly Waltman Erik Jon Odness Endowed Scholarship Erik Odness was a senior majoring in industrial technology when he was tragically killed while home on summer vacation in 1989. This scholarship, established in his memory by the Phi Omega Beta Fraternity, family, and friends, is awarded to a senior majoring in engineering technology with a 3.0 GPA and financial need.
