Stout University Foundation Scholarships
Cheryl Kruschke Endowed Scholarship Cheryl Kruschke, a 1974 UW-Stout graduate, established this scholarship to be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in dietetics. Cheryl had a successful career in dietetics, and her favorite part of the field was being able to interact with patients. She wishes to provide financial assistance to students who are interested in the dietetics field. This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in dietetics with a 3.0 GPA or higher and financial need. The annual award is $1,000. Allison Keller Marvin and Janice Kufahl Endowed Packaging Scholarship Marvin Kufahl, B.S. 1955, M.S. 1956, began his teaching career at UW-Stout in the metals department in 1956. In 1964, he was asked to develop and teach a new program in the field of packaging, a task he continued and enjoyed until his retirement in 1991. This endowed scholarship has been established to honor his years of service to the packaging program. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior packaging major with financial need. The annual award is $1,400. Veronica Diercks Mae E. Lampert Scholarship Mae E. Lampert graduated in 1920 with a diploma in home economics. She later served on the Stout Foundation Board of Directors, and contributed generously to establish this scholarship fund before her death in 1982. This scholarship supports the education of nontraditional female students. The annual awards are $1,300 each.

Toby J. Landgraf Endowed Scholarship Friends and family of Toby J. Landgraf initiated this scholarship in his memory. Scholarships are awarded to junior or senior students from Minnesota in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism management program. The annual awards are $2,300 each.
