Stout University Foundation Scholarships
Steven C. Olmstead Endowed Memorial Scholarship Steven Olmstead graduated from UW-Stout in 1992 with a degree in general business administration. He had a rare heart condition and died of a heart attack in 1993. This scholarship was established in Steve’s memory by his family and friends to assist a junior or senior business administration major with a 3.0 or above GPA. The annual award is $8,500. Matthew Dahlseide Norman (Tom) Olson FOB Memorial Scholarship Alumni and brothers of the Phi Omega Beta Fraternity established this scholarship to honor the work and life of Tom Olson, a founding brother and loyal member who passed away in 1988. The scholarship is awarded to a male student who has achieved academic success and is involved in extracurricular activities. The annual Dr. Regina M. and Dallas P. Olson Endowed Scholarship Dallas Olson graduated from UW-Stout in 1986 with a B.S. in industrial technology and a concentration in plant engineering. His manufacturing co-op experiences along with the tools and skills he acquired while attending Stout, enabled him to have a rewarding career in manufacturing. This scholarship is intended to encourage technology and engineering students to pursue a career in advanced automation, a career field in high demand in industry. Preference should be given to a student pursuing a manufacturing engineering advanced automation minor. The annual award is $1,000. Cole Struck award is $200. Matthew Bohm
